Isaiah 40 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Isaiah 40.
Meditate on verse 31.

Yet those who wait for the LORD will gain new strength;
They will mount up with wings like eagles;
they will run and not get tired;
they will walk and not become weary.

Have you ever watched an eagle soar? These powerful birds do not soar on their own strength; they spread their wings and ride thermals upward. They don’t have to beat their wings; they effortlessly lift heavenward as they trust in another source of power instead of their own. What a perfect comparison God gives you! Honestly, you are not going to accomplish anything on your own strength, but when you soar on the strength of the Creator of the universe and the Resurrector of the dead, you can do all things through Christ who gives you strength (Philippians 4:13).
Pray Isaiah 40:31 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, let _________ and me wait for You.
Thank You that as we do, we will gain new strength;
we will mount up with wings like eagles;
we will run and not get tired;
we will walk and not become weary.
In Your strong name, Jesus~”
