Luke 1 ~ Praying God's Word

Please read Luke 1.
Meditate on verses 1-4.

Inasmuch as many have undertaken to compile an account
of the things accomplished among us,
just as they were handed down to us
by those who from the beginning
were eyewitnesses and servants of the Word,
it seemed fitting for me as well,
having investigated everything carefully from the beginning,
to write it out for you in consecutive order,
 most excellent Theophilus;
so that you may know the exact truth
about the things you have been taught.

Meticulous Luke wrote a consecutive account of the life of Jesus and the church. It is recorded in the Bible in the books of Luke and Acts. For the next 52 days, you will read and pray exact Truth, the chapters written by God through Luke, His servant of the Word (Luke 1:2). What a gift God gave you in His Word!
Luke 1 is filled with treasures to pray. Take time to find the verses God wants you to pray specifically for those you love. For example, Luke 1:17 is good to pray over someone who needs to be brought to obedience to Christ. “LORD, turn the heart of __________ back to their children and turn _____________, who is disobedient, to the attitude of the righteous. Make them people prepared for You.”
Pray Luke 1:6 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, please let _________ and me be like Zacharias and Elizabeth,
righteous in Your sight,
walking blamelessly in all the commandments and requirements of You.

In Your name, Jesus~”
