Romans 11 - Praying God's Word

Please read Romans 11.

Meditate on verses 33-34.

Oh, the depth of the riches both of the

wisdom and knowledge of God!

How unsearchable are His judgments
and unfathomable His ways!
For who has known the mind of the LORD,

or who became His counselor?

Romans 11 is full of truth about God that can be difficult for humans to comprehend. “God gave them a spirit of stupor ...” (v. 8). “By their transgression salvation has come to the Gentiles to make them jealous” (v. 11). “All Israel will be saved ...” (v. 26).
Rest in the fact that the LORD’s sovereignty rules over all (Psalm 103:19). His gifts and calling are irrevocable (Romans 11:29). Examine your life today. What has the sovereign LORD gifted and called you to do? Choose to be obedient to God and the calling He has on your life.
Pray Romans 11:29 and 36 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, Your gifts and calling are irrevocable.
From You and through You and to You are all things.
 Let __________ and me live
the rest of our lives for Your glory forever.
Amen.”
