Acts 11 - Praying God's Word

Please read Acts 11.

Meditate on verse 21.

And the hand of the LORD was with them,
 and a large number who believed turned to the LORD.

This chapter starts with a contentious situation. Peter encountered a group of people who took issue with him. He handled the situation by calmly explaining in orderly sequence what happened. The result was the people who had an issue quieted down and glorified God. Following Peter’s example may be helpful when others take issue with you.
Pray Acts 11:12, 21, 23, and 24 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
 “LORD, when your Spirit tells ________ and me to go,
 may we obey without misgivings.
Let Your hand be with us.
May large numbers believe and turn to You.
Let us witness Your grace; let us rejoice;
 let us encourage others with
resolute heart to remain true to You.
Fill us with your Holy Spirit and with faith.
In Your name, Jesus~”
