Please read Acts 10.
Meditate on verse 15.
Again a voice come to him a second time,
“What God has cleansed, no longer consider unholy.”
God’s
salvation is for all people. The LORD made sure Peter understood salvation was
not for the Jews alone. God showed Peter that his prejudices were not Godly. “God
has shown me that I should not call any man unholy or unclean (Acts 10:28).”
Let the LORD
examine your heart. Do you see yourself as better than another person or group
of people? Do you secretly say in your heart, “Thank God I am not like one of
them?”
Repent of
your thoughts that are not from God. Practice seeing and loving others the way
God does.
Pray Acts 10:34-36 over yourself and those for whom you
stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD, help ________ and me to most certainly understand now
that You are not one to show
partiality,
but in every nation, the one who fears You
and does what is right is welcome to You.
Jesus Christ, You are Lord of all.
May we preach that peace
comes through You, Jesus Christ.
In Your name, Jesus~”
