Hebrews 11 - Praying God's Word

Please read Hebrews 11.

Meditate on verse 3.

By faith we understand that the worlds were prepared
by the word of God, so that what is seen was not
made out of things which are visible.

Immediately after the great call to come to God in the spiritual realm, is the call for believers to work together to remain faithful to the LORD (Hebrews 10:19-23). God’s call and encouragement to faithfulness continues to the end of Hebrews and includes the “Great Faith Chapter.” Hebrews 11 lists 45 people who, prior to Jesus’ time on earth, were honored by God because of their forward-looking faith in the Messiah.
This kind of faith believes without seeing (v. 1). It recognizes God made the world you see out of the invisible (v. 3). Godly faith is required to please Him (v. 6). It is required to come to God since one must have faith to believe God is and He rewards those who seek Him (v. 6).
Faith builds on the Hebrews 10:19-23 challenge. With this kind of faith, you can come to God and abide with Him.
Pray Hebrews 11:1, 3, and 6 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, give ______ and me the faith to be assured of the things hoped for
and convicted of the things not seen.
LORD, thank You that You made the worlds by Your Word.
Help us please You with our faith.
We come to You because we know You are real,
and we know that You reward us when we seek You.
In Your name, Jesus~”
