Isaiah 24 - Praying God's Word

Please read Isaiah 24.

Meditate on verses 4 and 5.

The earth mourns and withers, the world fades and withers,
the exalted of the people of the earth fade away.
The earth is also polluted by its inhabitants,
for they transgressed laws, violated statutes,
broke the everlasting covenant.

Isaiah 24 gives a vivid description of God’s coming judgment on all the inhabitants of the earth who do not know Him as LORD and Savior. “Therefore, a curse devours the earth, and those who live in it are held guilty. Therefore, the inhabitants of the earth are burned, and few men are left” (Isaiah 24:6).
The party is over in verses 7-13; the worldly party will end and glorifying the Righteous One will fill the earth (Isaiah 24:14-16). Isaiah 24 is a great chapter to share with people about the coming wrath of God; the only way of escape is through a relationship with Jesus Christ.
Pray Isaiah 24:16 over yourself and those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).

“LORD, let ______ and me be singing this song,
‘Glory to the Righteous One.’
In Your name, Jesus~”
