Please read 1 Timothy 2.
Meditate on verses 1-4.
First of
all, then,
I urge that entreaties and prayers,
petitions and thanksgivings,
be made on behalf
of all men,
for kings
and all who are in authority,
so that
we may lead a tranquil and quiet life
in all Godliness and dignity.
This is
good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior,
who
desires all men to be saved
and to come to the knowledge of the truth.
Paul commanded
Timothy to fight the good fight, keep the faith, and keep a good conscience.
Some people in the church rejected doing those things, and their faith suffered
shipwreck (1 Timothy 1:18-20). How could the shipwreck of one’s faith be
averted? Pray! Pray for yourself and pray for everyone else. The way to fight
the good fight is with prayer. It was the first thing God told the Ephesian
Christians to do, and He commands you to do the same. Your faith and the faith
of others is at stake. God wants all people to be saved, and He wants you to
pray for their salvation.
Pray 1
Timothy 2:4 over those for whom you stand guard as a faithful, prayerful
watchman (Isaiah 62:6-7).
“LORD,
You say in Your Word
You
desire for all people to be saved
and come
to the knowledge of the truth.
Please
save ________.
For the
sake of Your name, Jesus~”

on the WALL ~ Dr. Ron and Marsha Harvell
